Innocence
by Adam Catling
This is a beautiful boudoir photograph. I think the things that make it stand out are the composition (triangular compositions are very often appealing) and the models pose, in particular the position of the legs and feet which are very elegant.
I also think there is a certain air of mystery created by the low key approach punctuated with highlights from chandeliers (?) in the background.
The photo was taken on a Canon 500D and an EF 17-40 f/4L lens zoomed to 24mm. He has opened up to f6.3 giving a shutter speed of 1/60th of a second at ISO100. That aperture has done a great job of keeping the model's face and breasts in focus, only tailing off towards the feet.
