Husband Overseas

I received this boudoir photograph with a lovely note which said "husbands overseas didnt want to spend a lot of money so I did it myself!". I expect he will start swimming home the moment he gets this...

This is about as good a boudoir photograph as I've ever seen taken with a compact camera using its own flash. The only way to do better with the same equipment is to use natural light. I'm guessing here, but I think this was taken late at night but chances are there is a window behind the camera which could be used. Wherever possible using window light for boudoir photography will give more pleasing results than on-camera flash.

Nevertheless I really like this shot; the model looks absolutely gorgeous and the sentiment behind the shot is beautiful.
