Sepia Nude Photo

This sepia nude photograph of Lottie was taken in a bedroom window. I was playing with shallow depth of field in this series; my original plan had been to focus on an object close to the camera and have the model in the background slightly out of focus. In the end I wasn't too happy with any of those shots and found that the beautiful light and beautiful model were enough on their own.
Technical Information
Camera: Canon EOS 7D DSLR
Lens: EF 50mm f1.8
Exposure: f1.8, 1/2500, ISO200
Lighting
This is a daylight only shot using the single window. It important to point out that there is no direct sunlight on the window and so the light is soft and diffuse. With direct sunlight the image would have needed more light in the bedroom to balance out the harsh shadows.
Post Processing (Photoshop)
This shot was processed in Apple Aperture3. As I had deliberately underexposed the image, I boosted the exposure and increased the contrast and black point to increase the effect of the light playing across her breast and torso and throw the model's left side into shadow. I also added a touch of Aperture's Skin Smoothing to give the photograph a more romantic feel.
