Photographic Lighting Workshop
Photographic lighting is the most important factor in successful photography, and nowhere is this more important than when it comes to lighting the female form. The type of lighting you choose and where you place it have a massive effect on the textures and tones in your shots. Get it right and you will be your model's best friend forevever!
I want to use this section of the site to explore the different types of lighting available and the effects that positioning one or more lights can have. I am also keen to provide something that is helpful to amateur photographers who don't have a dedicated studio with half a dozen flash units and enormous softboxes - so I want to present practical guides on how to get the best results from whatever you have available.
