Flat Chested Posing Tips For Boudoir Photographs

Flat Chested Posing Tips for Boudoir Photographs is a page I didn't want to write! But it is something I get asked about surprisingly often by ladies who perceive that they have small boobs and are worried that they won't look good in boudoir photographs and I have been encouraged to give some tips, so here they are.

Confidence is Sexy

My first tip is not to worry. Don't get hung up on what you see as your faults; the truth is you can pull off any pose at all if you do so with confidence!

One of the models in my gallery springs to mind as being very self concious about being flat chested, but you would never know it from this picture boudoir photograph of flat chested model exuding confidence(she had never posed like this before):

I recently worked with a group of 18 professional models who were all beautiful but most of them wished that some part of their body was like one of the others; "I wish I had your legs/eyes/bum/boobs..." was practically a mantra...

1. Choose your lingerie carefully

If you are going to be wearing lingerie, don't be afraid to wear a push-up bra. Corsets are also a good idea; not only are they sexy, but they accentuate your waist and make your bust look bigger.

2. Pose lying on your front

This allows you to relax a bit while the photographer works his magic to create some fabulous images.

3. Pose lying on your back

Nearly as good as lying on your front is posing lying on your back. Gravity is a great equaliser and it is hard to tell how big your bust is when reclining.

4. Fold your arms

Folding your arms (or bringing them close together in front of you) naturally increases your cleavage.

After the shoot, you can usually increase your cleavage in post production.

I quite often use Photoshop to increase the shadows around and between the breasts and highlight the centers to increase the sense of depth. In the right photograph I think you can gain a cup size or two this way.

You need to use a soft brush and low flow rate to avoid making it too obvious.
