Boudoir Photography Gallery

Boudoir photography gallery background: this was a hastily rigged shot in a poorly lit room. I don't normally go for front lit photos, but in this case I had a particular look in mind and it worked quite well in three or four shots, where the pose and expression matched the mood.
Technical Information
Camera: Canon EOS 40D DSLR
Lens: EF28-70f2.8L at 42mm
Exposure: f2.8, 1/160, ISO400
Lighting
Window light from the right and a burst of fill flash to boost the light levels in the bedroom.
Post Processing (Photoshop)
The most obvious step is the cross-processed look created by modifying the red, green and blue colour levels differently. The overall contrast and exposure levels were also increased to give that slightly burnt-out look. A side effect of this is that skin loses detail, which means you don't need to do much retouching.
For more information on the technical details see here: lighting, exposure, iso.
