Nude Photography Gallery

Nude photography gallery background: this is another shot from my session with Laura. I like this shot because the pose, though nude, is demure and she looks relaxed and confident.
As suggested in first posing tips for boudoir photographs we started with poses where she didn't look directly into the lens, and this is one of those.
Technical Information
Camera: Canon EOS 40D DSLR
Lens: EF24-70f2.8L at 30mm
Exposure: f4.5, 1/125, ISO100
Lighting
Single studio light to the right and slightly behind the model. Shot against a black velvety material. I think I used a reflector to bounce some light onto her front, but I can't honestly remember - we were having too much fun!
Post Processing (Photoshop)
No Photoshop work at all; post processing was carried out entirely in Aperture 3 and consisted of partial desaturating (there is still some colour in there), a Skin Smoothing adjustment and a bit of retouching: for example you could still see her earlobe but it was distracting so I burnt it out (ie made it darker).
For more information on the technical details see here: lighting, exposure, iso.
