Boudoir photography gallery background: this is from a studio shoot with Laura. We were going to do some nude and lingerie shots, so started with the nudes so that there wouldn't be any strap marks etc. In the end the nudes worked so well that we didn't get round to the lingerie!
As with this nude photograph of Laura, the shot was taken with a single light directly above her, emphasising wonderful shadows over the contours of her body.
Technical Information
Camera: Canon EOS 5D mark II DSLR
Lens: EF24-70f2.8L at 46mm
Exposure: f7, 1/200, ISO100
Lighting
Single studio light directly above the model. No softbox was used to emphasise the light and shadows.
Post Processing (Photoshop)
Not much Photoshop work; just the usual small curves adjustment layer and a slight glamourous blur effect using my airbrushing skin photoshop technique. Because the light was directly above there was quite a difference between the brightness of her hip and that of her face or feet. I therefore boosted the brightness (via Photoshop Levels Adjustment) around the outside of the frame to compensate.
