Boudoir Photography Gallery

Boudoir photography gallery background:
Stacey had the idea of taking shots in a shower and we managed to get permission to use the showers at a local football club (in exchange for me taking the photograph for their annual calender!).
However the shower room was still quite small and didn't give us many options for the lighting, so this shot has had a fair bit of work in Photoshop to give it a bit more life - or at least enough to match Staceys excellent pose. I also had Stacey cover herself in baby oil in order to make her more shiny. Baby oil is often used with nudes when there is water involved, because it makes the water form droplets on the skin.
Technical Information
Camera: Olympus E-20
Lens: 20mm
Exposure: f11, 1/125, ISO80
Lighting
Studio light with umbrella reflector in front / to the right of the model (you can see its position from the shadows cast on the wall behind her, and the highlights on her body).
Post Processing (Photoshop)
As the original shot was rather flat, I used several curves adjustment layers to boost the overall contrast, brighten the background and give more definition to the highlights on her curves.
I also applied a strong blurring effect to the shot to give a glamourous feel which matches her pose, and an exagerated high pass filter effect over the top of that to increase definition and contrast further.
For more information on the technical details see here: lighting, exposure, iso.
